Many communities in our great city are experiencing high levels of displacement of residents due to the ever increasing cost of housing. As clean and safe housing becomes more scarce, we have seen a call for an increase of affordable dwelling units here in New York City.
It is time that we work towards securing locations within our community while giving people the information they need and the opportunity to remain in the community that has made them who they are. We love the individuality of our neighborhoods here in NYC, and what makes each and everyone of these places unique- the diversity of the people. We should try our best to keep families in their communities.
